In the Problema de la filosofía hispánica Eduardo Nicol speaks about the common sense as one of the Barcelona's School connotations, school in which the same Nicol puts himself. This essay represents a first attempt to show the common sense as a fundamental dimension in which roots the same reasoning. So, outlining the roots of common sense concept shared in Catalan tradition, the essay shows the value that this concept maintains in Eduardo Nicol's thought.
