Abstract

I report the first record of the Scrub Euphonia (Euphonia affinis) for the state of Nuevo León, Mexico. This note provides information about the localization of sightings of six individuals; two adult males, one adult female and three individuals which sex and age could not be determined. The sightings occurred in the municipality of Linares on the 28th of august 2009.
