On September 17^th 2005, we recorded the Osprey, Pandion haliaetus, in the locality of Santiago Quiotepec, northern Oaxaca. This is the first record of the species in the arid region of the Tehuacán-Cuicatlán valley. We obtained a photographic support for this record.
