Abstract
CASTILLO OROPEZA, Oscar Adán and CARMONA ROJAS, Madisson Yojan. Towards the notion of water anomy: an approach to the case of San Bartolo Ameyalco, Mexico City. Tla-melaua [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.42, pp.28-46. ISSN 2594-0716.
In this research paper the notion of water anomy is proposed, as a result of the water conflict that arose in the town of San Bartolo Ameyalco (Mexico City). Émile Durkheim’s theoretical postulates and other definitions and interpretations are taken into account in order to define anomy. In order to interpret this case and to verify the heuristic value of our proposal, exploratory observation and other sources, result of a documental and homograph investigation will be used. Among the partial conclusions, it was found that there is a necessity to innovate the sociological conceptual ways, in order to study the different issues that area hardly study from sociological perspective, such as those related to water management and conflicts in the city.
