In this ethnographic study it is presented a case of a teacher who, as a result of the implementation of inclusive education policies, faced the new challenge for him of teaching a group with a blind student. The analysis focused on the material and social conditions in which teacher faced the inclusive education’s demands with this group. It was found both, some favorable conditions as other that limited his work to promote blind child’s learning and participation. It is showed how these policies presented complex demands to the teachers without being able to create the necessary conditions to address them. It is highlighted that is crucial that the implementation of policies generates the necessary conditions to achieve the educative inclusion of students with disabilities.
