The resolution of youth employment problems requires strengthening macroeconomic mechanisms, designing strategies for the formalization of the informal economy, implementing measures for the empowerment of young women, as well as a comprehensive approach that structures policies in education, social protection, training professional and employment.

In any case, any public policy must not only consider the current young people, but also a long-term strategy that contemplates social and economic factors on the work trajectories of young people in the future.
