Resumen

CAMACHO SOLIS, Julio Ismael. Social responsibility laws. Their dimension in the companies' work field. Rev. latinoam. derecho soc [online]. 2015, n.20, pp.3-29. ISSN 2448-7899.

Social entrepreneurial or corporative responsibility (SER) is a style of business management, which recognizes and incorporates the relation of permanent interdependence that exists between the company and its spokespeople, whose interests are assumed for mutual benefit. For this purpose, the company, whichever size, be it of any size or magnitude or merely of a family dimension, must harmonize in its producing, commercializing, or selling the scenario of economic profitability and financial stability, with human and labor rights, social welfare, integral warranty and environmental protection. In this way, along with civil society and the State, the company in general assumes the fundamental role in the process destined towards respecting labor and human rights, justice and gender equality to accomplish a more just, equilibrated and sustainable society. Ideally, the company that involves itself in the theme of SER or acts under those premises would origin a virtuous chain that connects and generates a symmetric dynamic action oriented by these principles and values, with countless social actors, beginning with its workers and reaching community, which intervene in its social, productive, economic and commercial process.

Palabras llave : Social responsibility; company.
