This article has the objective to analyze the legal framework regulating the Administrators of Retirement Funds (Administradoras de fondos para el retiro, AFORES), in those cases of dead people that because of ignorance, distrust, indifference or neglect did not register any (themselves). The beneficiaries are entitled to recover individual account retirement savings, estate of the deceased worker, generated by their social security contributions to get a pension. In practice, sometimes becomes a tortuous process, lack of clarity in the rules and/or bad advice.
