This article has as general matter, since the CIDIPs perspective, the overlapping of treaties emerged in America, due to the international instruments that are celebrated destined for legal cooperation in the continent. In this field, the research, through a technique and interpretative method, focused on the 'integration/compatibility clauses' that exist in the inter American conventions, since they represent one of the tools that allow the coordination of this normative sources that compose this tangled bunch of treaties in America. The relevance of the study of this type of clause lies in the fact that, in the international laws community, the decision of which treat will be applied, front of the enormous quantity of instruments over the same theme, is a difficult task.
