The International Law Commission adopted on second reading the draft articles on responsibility of international organizations. These are based on the draft articles on responsibility of States. Nevertheless some issues required a particular treatment in order to tackle the specificities of international organizations. This paper, after focusing on the specific provisions of the draft articles on responsibility of international organizations that raised greater debate, argues that the establishment of a mechanism for dispute resolution would facilitate a more peaceful implementation of the draft articles.
