The Migration Act issued in 2011, repeals the provisions relating to migration included in the Population General Act, and is part of a series of legal reforms implemented by Mexico as a strategy to rule the various migration processes which contribute to the country. This article aims to present some thoughts on relevant items included in the Migration Act, as well as the similarities and differences that it presents to the Population General Act migration has been regulated for more than 30 years in Mexico, to determine the advantages and disadvantages that your application will provide to migrants.
