This contribution is a rapporteur highlighted those issues under discussion at Sixth Meeting of the Special Commission on the Practical Operation of The Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and The Hague Convention of 19 October 1996 on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in Respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children, held in the headquarters of the Hague Academy of International Law, The Hague, Netherlands from 1 to June 10, 2011. Program designed for this meeting spawned the very specific approach to issues, and highly topical, for practical implementation refers to both conventions.
