Abstract

After describing the context of generalized violence and discrimination against women in Mexico and summarizing the facts of the case known as "Cotton Field", the author analyzes in this article the principal legal reasons for considering the judgment of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights as one of the most relevant decisions inside its jurisprudence.
