The International Law Commission concluded at its Sixty-first session (2009) the adoption on first reading of the draft articles on responsibility of international organizations. This paper examines one of the most relevant issues of these draft articles, such as the responsibility of member States of an organization, because of their membership, for the internationally wrongful act of that organization.
