Resumen

The author, based mainly on the work of Antonio Gómez Robledo regarding international ius cogens, studies the history of that institution, the opinion of govern ments, the debates at the United Nations General Assembly and the Vienna Conference on the Law of Treaties as well as the retated doctrine. After that, he examines the argumentations on that matter in the light of the Aritstotle, Cicero, Maria del Carmen Platas Pacheco, Chàim Perelman and Robert Alexy doctrines.
