Abstract

This research aims to analyze mobile devices use benefits in traveler’s experience when arriving to Tijuana city. A sample of 384 applied surveys was obtained through quantitative methodology, 95% of confidence, and 5% of error. The document is divided into three main blocks: mobile device digital services use, mobile device installed apps frequency of use, destination traveler’s satisfaction level due to the use of digital services. Results show a 0.01 significant moderate correlation between the traveler’s frequency of mobile services use and the satisfaction given by such services at disposal during travel. Conclusions lead to think technology is an indispensable component to travelers and that smartphones contribute to consumer tourist’s communication satisfaction, information consult, shopping and transportation.
