Resumen
TREJO CONTRERAS, Zulema. Luces y sombras en la historia de los grupos indígenas en Sonora, siglos XIX-XXI: Panorama historiográfico. Región y sociedad [online]. 2015, vol.27, n.62, pp.149-176. ISSN 2448-4849.
This article presents a panoramic analysis of the historiography of Sonora's indigenous Mayo, Yaqui and Ópata. It explains how books and essays about these tribes have been developing from description to analysis. This evolution involves the study of new topics and perceptions about Sonoran's indigenous people. This article examines three features to classify the historiography of Mayos, Yaquis and Ópatas: a dual perception regarding indigenous tribes, the historiographical context of the books and essays analyzed, and the Indian as a principal character in his or her own history.
