This article describes and analyzes the changes regarding the operation and coordination of environmental organizations. The research framework is the theory of political opportunities, and the empirical references being the following cases: the National Network of Ecological Action (RENACE, in its Spanish initials) in Argentina, and the National Network of Environmental Information Right in Mexico (REDIA, in its Spanish initials). This work deals with the debates about the resources available for collective actions, and social involvement.
