Echeveria andreae (Crassulaceae) is described and illustrated as a new species endemic to the Mixteca Alta mountain region in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The new species is related to Echeveria subcorymbosa regarding its raceme inflorescence, from which it differs noticeably by its very long stems, solitary habit, lax rosettes, as well as by its pink carpels and nectary scales. The new species is placed in the series Racemosae of Echeveria.
