[online]. 2020, vol.91, e913085.  Epub 22-Dez-2020. ISSN 2007-8706.  https://doi.org/10.22201/ib.20078706e.2020.91.3085.

External features and internal structures, through dorsal dissections, were reviewed for 5 species of Oligochaeta from the Colombian Amazonia Region. Based on these 5 new species of the genera Rhinodrilus and Diachaeta are here described. Rhinodrilus alecrisus sp. nov., showed the presence of 1 pair of spermathecae in segment 8 and 1 pair of prostatic glands in segments 19-20; Rhinodrilus buree sp. nov., was characterized by 2 pairs of spermathecae in segments 8-9, and 2 pairs of prostatic glands in 19-20; Rhinodrilus muruiborane sp. nov., is differentiated from others by the position of the tubercula pubertatis, and the number, shape and size of spermathecae; Rhinodrilus sinchi sp. nov., was characterized by the presence of 1 pair of prostatic glands in segments 19-20 and 1 pair of spermathecal pores in segments 6-7; Diachaeta (Amazo) sabalomurui sp. nov., was separated by the position of the clitellum, and the shape and size of the genital seta and spermathecae. With these new records, the earthworm fauna of Colombia increases to 148 species, including 14 from Colombian Amazonia Region.
