AGUINAGA, Miguel A. y CRUZ-LOPEZ, Jesús A.. Two new cavernicolous species of the genus Serrobunus (Opiliones: Stygnopsidae: Stygnopsinae) from northeastern Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2019, vol.90, e902907. Epub 09-Sep-2019. ISSN 2007-8706. https://doi.org/10.22201/ib.20078706e.2019.90.2907.
Two new troglobitic species of the genus Serrobunus Goodnight and Goodnight, 1942 are described: S. linares sp. nov. and S. paulbryanti sp. nov., from caves in Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, Mexico, respectively. Serrobunus linares sp. nov. can be recognized by the cheliceral dentition, pedipalpal armor, and male genitalia. Serrobunus paulbryanti sp. nov. is easily recognizable because it has no eyes and the ventral plate is divided. Also, an identification key for the 4 known species of the genus is provided.
