Abstract

A general review of the family Chrysomelidae in Mexico is presented. A total of 2 174 species and 301 genera are known. Caloscelis Clark y Euplectroscelis Crotch are endemic to Mexico, also 31 Blepharida Chevrolat species. Veracruz (694), Oaxaca (428) and Guerrero (348) have registered the highest number of species.
