Abstract

GARCIA-MENDOZA, Abisaí Josué  and  CHAVEZ-RENDON, César. Agave kavandivi (Agavaceae: group Striatae), a new species from Oaxaca, Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2013, vol.84, n.4, pp.1070-1076. ISSN 2007-8706.  https://doi.org/10.7550/rmb.35241.

Agave kavandivi from the Mixteca Alta region, state of Oaxaca, Mexico is described as new and illustrated. It belongs to subgenus Littaea (Tagliabue) Baker, group Striatae Baker. It is compared with A. dasylirioides Jacobi et C. D.Bouché, A. stricta Salm-Dyck and A. rzedowskiana P. Carrillo, R. Vega et R. Delgad.
