Abstract

MARTINEZ-CAMILO, Rubén; MARTINEZ-MELENDEZ, Nayely  and  PEREZ-FARRERA, Miguel Ángel. A new record of Bdallophytum oxylepis (Malvales: Cytinaceae) for Chiapas. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2012, vol.83, n.4, pp.1230-1232. ISSN 2007-8706.  https://doi.org/10.7550/rmb.30960.

The parasitic plant Bdallophytum oxylepis is recorded for the first time in the state of Chiapas. This species is endemic to Mexico, previously known from a few localities in the states of Jalisco, Michoacán, and Oaxaca. This new record increases to 2 the number of species of Bdallophytum in Chiapas and in the region covered by the proyect Flora Mesoamericana.
