Abstract

LINARES, José. A new species of Albizia (Leguminosae: Mimosoideae) from Central America. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2005, vol.76, n.1, pp.7-10. ISSN 2007-8706.

A new species, Albizia xerophytica sp. nov., is described and illustrated, and its taxonomic affinities are discussed. The tree has been collected from the low-land broadleaf forests of El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua of northern Central America.
