The objective of this text is a revision on the emotions in general, and in particular its presence on the day of the presidential election, 1st July of the year 2018 in Mexico. The emotional and electoral process that took place throughout the day. First, we review the role of emotions from different approaches. Secondly, the emotions on the elections, and those that felt the day and at the time of the vote, according to the experience and memories narrated through interviews post election to a group of people in the city of Mexico.
