This article reflects on the scope, limits and responsibilities of those with custody over children and adolescents with regard to the right to likeness and the best interest of the child when their images are distributed via information and communication technologies. The foregoing is approached from an ethical perspective, from the principle of responsibility with a focus on dignity, the rights to personality in the area of the rights to likeness and intimacy, and their contemporary implications.
