Abstract

GOMEZ TAGLE LOPEZ, Erick  and  JUAREZ RIOS, Estefany. Sexual criminology. Rev. IUS [online]. 2014, vol.8, n.34, pp.141-165. ISSN 1870-2147.

The rates of sexual crimes continue to increase and disrupt mainly young women and children, without right institutional answer for its prevention, attention and eradication. These criminal demeanors with strong social rejection have difficult scientific comprehension, at least from an effective interdisciplinary approach. Sciences such as biology, criminology, low and sociology, offer explanatory elements from their own areas, but the challenge is to achieve a comprehensive approach that reflects the bio-psycho-social essence of the human being, both victims and victimizers, which will allow a better handling of the problem.

Keywords : Specialized criminologies; sexual crimes; genre; sexuality; sexual violence; evolutionary biology.
