ROBLES MENDOZA, Alba Luz. Fear on the streets: the main feeling of criminal public insecurity. A criminology and gender study. Rev. IUS [online]. 2014, vol.8, n.34, pp.81-100. ISSN 1870-2147.
This is a study on the perception of fear perceived on the streets of Mexico, through an application within the geographical area of the Iztacala Higher Education Faculty; where men and women express their social learning and interpretations depending on gender and personality development, through symbolic imagination of the meaning of fear in the face of public insecurity in which we are currently living. The research shows gendered perception differences; not only of the criminal behavior, but also of the types of crime they are exposed to. It will be analyzed from a gender perspective through criminological elements related to the country's public insecurity.
