This Amparo is an essential safeguard of public law, whereby the holder of a subjective right or legitimate interest or a diffuse interest, is threatened or affected, unlawfully, so a requests to the judge is made to protect him then terminating the effects of the threat or potential injury. In this paper we analyze the characteristics of amparo in Uruguay as well as the disapproval against public authority in its expression between individuals.
