Abstract

"Without culture there is no democracy." This phrase can sum up the essence of cultural claims and , therefore, the challenges to be addressed by the emerging formations in Spain, and especially by Podemos. The culture developed in the last years of the dictatorship and in the beginning of the Spanish transition led to a consolidation of democratic values in our country, without which one cannot understand the emergence of 15M, the tides and Podemos, from which both were born.
