Abstract

MARGULIS, Paola Judith. El montaje de la transición argentina: Un análisis de los films La República perdida, La República perdida II y Evita, quien quiera oír que oiga. Culturales [online]. 2012, vol.8, n.16, pp.85-122. ISSN 2448-539X.

This article is aimed at reconstructing part of the history of Argentine documentary filmmaking by addressing three films which had a high impact in Argentina towards the transition to democracy: La República perdida (Miguel Pérez, 1983), its sequel La República perdida II (Miguel Pérez, 1986), and Evita, quien quiera oír que oiga (Eduardo Mignogna, 1984). Given the importance of the mentioned films -not only as far as politics is concerned, but also in terms of impact in the audience-, we will try to put them in context and analyze some aspects of their narrative logic.

Keywords : documentary; dictatorship; transition to democracy.
