This article aims to contribute to the knowledge of the marginalized neighbourhood of Los Asperones in Malaga (Spain), whose inhabitants mostly belong to the gipsy people. To that end, we present a critical analysis of the socio-spatial and temporal horizons operating in the marginalization of this area and hindering the building of resilience among its neighbours. Our account builds upon the testimonies gathered from the interviews and focus groups conducted with inhabitants of Los Asperones, as well as with various educational professionals working there, all of them contrasted with our participant observation.
