Abstract

BELALCAZAR VALENCIA, John Gregory  and  MOLINA VALENCIA, Nelson. The weavings of Mampuján women: aesthetic-artistic practices of situated memory in the Colombian Armed Conflict context. Andamios [online]. 2017, vol.14, n.34, pp.59-85. ISSN 2594-1917.

The paper’s main objective is to understand the narrative deployment of quilt tapestries elaborated by women from Mampuján, who were victims of the armed conflict in Colombia. Also, we want to make evident the forms of apprehension and representation of the relational logics derived form the armed conflict in different territories of Colombia. We chose the tapestry Gracias por unirse alrededor de un sueño as our analysis focus. We took the analytical tools from Bruno Latour’s Actor Network theory and Gilles Deleuze’s fold metaphor. Additionally, the content analysis validate the conjunction of narrative plots (according to Paul Ricoeur), using as an analytical and visualization technique the production of narrative graphs.

Keywords : Memory; social fabric; relational fold; narratives.
