Abstract

AGUILAR NERY, Jesús. Emergence of studies of educational inequalities in Mexico and Argentina: a comparison. Andamios [online]. 2016, vol.13, n.32, pp.379-402. ISSN 2594-1917.

This paper presents a comparative analysis in relation to the emergency of the studies on educational inequalities in Mexico and Argentina, between the fifties and sixtys of the twentieth century. Theoretics, methodologic and comparative perspective is used, for draw up to similarities and differences between both countries. Two points are relevant: convergence is highlighted in the rationales underlying the emerging research on educational inequalities in both countries, as well as the relevance of certain discursive transfers between international and national productions, both facts makes each case singular and significant.
