PECH, Cynthia. Time and Destiny: The Fragility of Goodness in Los Olvidados. Andamios [online]. 2005, vol.2, n.3, pp.107-127. ISSN 1870-0063.

This article explore this situation in the film Los Olvidados (1950) by Luis Buñuel, inviting to think about the fragility of goodness in its historical context, and discusses the contradictions in the political discourse of former president Miguel Aleman: general welfare in contrast with poverty of mayor urban sectors.
