Abstract

JARQUE, José Manuel. The Coverage in El País of 9-11 Attacks in the United States: Acriticism or Alignment with the U.S. Line. Andamios [online]. 2005, vol.2, n.3, pp.23-50. ISSN 2594-1917.

In this article the author analyze the ideological position and argumentation of El País around the 9-11, which is involved in a complex conflict. It is a a critical reading from the editorials published by this newspaper, since the first month after the attacks, until the war on Afghanistan, using, simultaneously, conflict theory and Critical Discourse Analysis.
