Resumen

CARABIAS, Julia. Economic policies with environmental sustainability. Economía UNAM [online]. 2019, vol.16, n.46, pp.118-125.  Epub 17-Jun-2020. ISSN 1665-952X.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fe.24488143e.2019.46.438.

Human society and nature get along worse than ever. Resources extraction, industry waste and greenhouse gases exceed natural capacity to replenish and absorb. Ecosystems are lost at extreme speed, in the last 200 years more than ever, since man appeared. Stratospheric ozone has stopped its deterioration, and has begun restoring thanks to international agreements. However, the general development model in not sustainable: it does not articulate economy, society and environment, and has made 25% of humanity to live in deep poverty. Something must be done. Some proposals.
