There is done a review of the energy policy of Mexico and one emphasizes that followed(continued) by the neoliberal governments they have damaged the budget, overlapped the corruption, granted privileges and protections for the return of the big petroleum international consortia; nevertheless, the results of these policies have not been of benefit to the country. For it one proposes a new strategy that takes advantage of the great petroleum revenue and allows to do of Pemex a profitable company, as well as a factor to stimulate the development of Mexico.
