Mexico cannot remain isolated from the new phenomena and trends of power production, supply and consumption. These, together with industrial and technological transformation, will be determinants in the new challenges in global economy. The emerging paths deal not only with technological development and competitiveness, but also with public concerns beyond local boundaries.
