This article presents a historical analysis of Latin America, which reviews the transformations of economic, political and social tasks in the region, It studies the ideological process supporting each stage, stands out other inputs looking for a new orientation regarding the direction our continent must follow, and suggests to deepen on the changes by means of what the author calls a regionalization of globalization. The purpose is, in brief, to strengthen Latin American integration processes from within and from the bottom, with the active participation of civil society, in which citizens are a fundamental part of the domestic agenda.
