The objective of this article has been to carry out a critical and intersectional analysis of the violence against Afro-Colombian and Wayuu communities derived from the expansion of mega-mining in La Guajira. It has an exploratory and documentary character, based on intersectionality, open Marxism, decolonialism, and black feminism. The results suggest that the irrelevance of local resistance lies in following paths framed within the legal-liberal frontiers. Our argumentative order implies a theoretical-analytical proposal that allows us to avoid identity positions that do not grant to understand the complex interweaving of power. The value of the proposal is based on outlining possibilities of autonomous forms of politicization that go beyond the capitalist normality, from the making of the Afro-Guajiro and Wayúu critical subjects. The research leads us to conclude that the struggles undertaken by the local communities from the logic and state narrative have not allowed to potentiate true emancipatory horizons.
