Resumen

ALVAREZ-AROS, Erick L.; ALVAREZ AROS, Jhovani de Jesús  y  SALAS SALAZAR, Karla María. Human Capital and Innovation in Health Sector. A Systematic Review of Literature and Scientiometric Analysis. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2021, vol.11, n.22, 00003.  Epub 16-Feb-2024. ISSN 2007-8846.  https://doi.org/10.21696/rcsl102120201255.

The objective of this work was to explore the key elements of human capital and innovation in the health sector through a systematic review of the literature and a scientometric analysis. The results show that the subject is grouped into clusters such as human resources, organization and administration, relationships and the economic environment. There is also evidence of a rising theme, and indicators in which the University of Toronto, the scientific article as the most common document, the areas of social sciences and medicine, and the United States stand out. The study was limited to only two databases, and it is suggested to expand for future research. The results imply a work agenda for business policy and an area of opportunity for entrepreneurs. This work is novel for the methodological techniques and adds value to the state of the art. In conclusion, human resources represent the most important source of organizational knowledge and are the most valuable source of innovation in the health sector.
