Abstract

MACEDO RODRIGUEZ, Alfonso. Guerrilleros in the narrative of Juan José Saer and Ricardo Piglia. Latinoamérica [online]. 2018, n.67, pp.239-265. ISSN 2448-6914.  https://doi.org/10.22201/cialc.24486914e.2018.67.57029.

This paper establishes new links between the narrative of Juan José Saer and Ricardo Piglia, fundamental writers in contemporary Argentinian literature analyzing some characters that stand out for their radical political activism. In their texts, some fictional characters are guerrilleros that represent certain ethical dilemmas: they violently participate against the represive political system or they take moderate intellectual actions that represent another way of social resistance. This paper joins together both poetics and contrast their political stances; it also lays down some intertextual relations that contribute to the dialog that Piglia and Saer kept.

Keywords : Saer; Piglia; Guerrilleros; Glosa; Diarios.
