Abstract

The present article draws on primary sources to reconstruct the intelectual life surrounding an important radical newspaper called La Tribune des Peuples. This newspaper appeared in 1849 and was a meeting point for intellectuals from the margins of Europe. We explain the relationship between La Tribune des Peuples and Francisco Bilbao, an important chilean philosopher who helped to develop this newspaper. We point on the importance of this publication for the comprehension on Bilbao's work.
