Abstract

MORALES GAITAN, Katia Andrea  and  AGUADO LOPEZ, Eduardo. The legitimation of the Social Science in the most important scientific data bases for Latin-America. Latinoamérica [online]. 2010, n.51, pp.159-188. ISSN 2448-6914.

We analyze, from the point of view of the Sociology of Science three constituent axes of its field. The first level rescues the epistemology of the social scientific production. The second focuses on the construction of the legitimacy on scientists through their publications. Finally, we refer throught the most important indicators for Latin-America, generated in the scientific databases. Concluding that the use of Technologies of Information and Communication are channels that legitimize the results of research and productivity in the scientific communities.
