Remittances have become an element of dynamic economies in Latin America in general and the Andina Community in particular. One of the main manifestations of the importance of remittances is the weight in macro-economic indicators. To this extent, this article not only a characterization of international migration flows in the Andina countries, but addresses in particular the way it has affected the macroeconomic indicators in the region by the resources of remittances.
