José Gaos and Francisco Romero share a way of thinking and of doing things, that manifests in a common interest on the promotion of knowledge and the recovery of our roots and our philosophic past, by means of a history of ideas in Latin America, in order to achieve our auto affirmation, auto conscience and to value what constitute us as latinamericans. Gaos and Romero affirm that this is a way to express the philosophical truth, in accordance to our way of feel, see and understand our own America.
