To clarify the current context of the media, it is necessary to refer to the discourse and the globalization process. In it, the media have conformed a technological power hypostatized with the political and economic power. And from there, by means of a process of high concentration, they self assignate new functions, in reason of which define the contents of the products that must be consumed by the “clients.” In Latin America, with the differences that can exist among a country and other, the media don’t escape to this dynamics. Example of it is it the spoil that has being object the society and the absence of ethics of solidarity in their behavior.
