This text intends to show, from the point of view of different kinds of research (sociology, social psychology and history), the legacy of a religious mentality in Latin America. That mentality, in an anomic society, always usingsacrificeand fault, prevents thepossibility of the self-correction of collective and individual mistakes. Due to the resemblances between this latin american mentality in different countries and the spanish one, we can say that this lack of capacity for autorreflection and self regulation comes fr.
